The virtual city tour as a team event – without the stress of school

The participants of my tour today were happy to finally see each other again. Contact with colleagues is simply too limited at the moment, so the medieval proverb tour provided a good opportunity to spend an evening together and meet virtually. With 31 participants, I too was delighted to see many colorful tiles and happy faces on my crowded screen.

Technology plays a role

Fortunately, it was easy for all participants to register via the Zoom meeting link I set up. The guests quickly became familiar with the microphone and were able to participate in the interactive virtual tour. Answering the surveys also went smoothly, resulting in several “aha” moments. But even for the quiet observer, this digital city tour offered several surprises.

Happy group

I really enjoyed sharing my enthusiasm for the city's history and language with the teachers. And I'm looking forward to the next time we're all out together on a "regular" city tour!
