Friday, July 8, 2022, 6 p.m.: Munich's Schlachthofviertel – Between Street Art and High Culture
After-work walk from the Neues Volkstheater to the Alte Utting; costs EUR 15 per person, duration approx. 2 hours
My new tour takes you through a neighborhood where you'd almost forget that Munich's culinary needs are still catered for here today. But where Munich's first central slaughterhouse and cattle yard were built almost 150 years ago, the cityscape is changing so rapidly that it's hard to keep up. Discover with me how the area currently presents itself: colorful and diverse in art, culture, and cuisine, as well as young and traditional, between the abandoned container site and the new Volkstheater. We then move through the Dreimühlenviertel to the famous Ammersee steamer on the bridge, where you can confidently sail into the weekend!

Thursday, 21.07.2022, 18:30: MUCA Bunker Munich
From the air raid shelter to the art scene location; costs EUR 15 per person, duration approx. 1 hour; more information can be found here
The bunker's history dates back to 1941. The former World War II air-raid shelter became a bunker hotel, later a trendy nightclub, and is now being transformed into the MUCA (art) bunker.
The MUCA has redesigned this iconic building and brought it back to life with modern installations and elaborate murals. In addition, the bunker is intended to serve as a kind of historical overview of the development of street art, exploring the path of this urban and modern art form.
