Fancy Munich? is taking part in the action week of the Tourism Initiative Munich eV

With a diverse program, the Munich Tourism Initiative eV is appealing to Munich residents who are looking forward to getting to know their city in a very special way and from a wider perspective. I am delighted to be participating in the action week with my colleagues Alexander Kardaschenko and Susanna Waldorf. We look forward to welcoming you to our very special tours!

We have the following tours in our program for you:

One of the highlights will be the late-night tour of the New Town Hall on Munich's Marienplatz. Experience where Munich's major political events take place, see the historic meeting rooms, and hear the history and stories of one of our city's most important buildings. As a special treat, at the end of the tour, you'll go to the Town Hall balcony for a truly unique view of Marienplatz at night.

Sunday, July 18, 2021, 3-5 p.m., special Quizz Tour Munich; guide Alexander Kardaschenko

We don't know anything for sure... This exciting quiz tour is for all Munich fans. The ultimate walking tour combined with an exciting quiz for when you "just need a little more"! A cultural quickie through the city – high-tech and low-tech united in Bavaria's capital. Bewildered – then join me on the hunt for hidden places and listen to exciting stories that repeatedly catapult us back in time and help us understand the modern age. If you're curious, then join us! It's worth it – these are wild times!

Price: 16 euros including a small tasting and a drink; registration via www.yourmunichtour.de

Thursday, 22.07.2021, 7-9 p.m., This is unbelievable – Munich literallyGuide Grit Ranft

We use them every day: proverbs and sayings that have quietly and secretly crept into our vocabulary. But where do these wordplays come from and what do they actually mean? Because some of them seem a bit strange to us, don't they? Together we'll delve deeper into the city's medieval history and find out where the dog is buried in Munich's old town. Of course, I won't mince my words as we take a eloquent look at the details of our city. So, come along, and let's let loose together! Because you certainly don't want to miss out on this enjoyable city tour! And because we're all so happy about #münchenistwiederda, there's a small thank you for every participant!

Price: 15 Euro; Registration through me, simply via the Contact form on my website
