The virtual Christmas market was a complete success!
Yes, I was very excited, and I'm very happy that everything went so well. Luckily, the ladies (and gentlemen) of the German-American Women's Club had just as much fun with this experiment as I did. And what a joy it was to see each other again via Zoom after the long weeks of not being able to meet.
The planned 75 minutes turned into almost two hours
So it wasn't just the diverse topics I chose for our virtual Christmas walk that made it so memorable, but also the fact that all the participants were so enthusiastic that the time flew by. Luckily, the guests had brought along some snacks and drinks to take to the computer beforehand—which, of course, also contributed to a festive atmosphere, fitting for the theme.
