"I recently had the opportunity to participate in a virtual Oktoberfest tour. What could it possibly be, online and without the live experience? I thought to myself beforehand, and I was curious to see how it would reach the viewers via Zoom.
I was proven wrong! Grit Ranft managed to conjure up an almost LIVE Oktoberfest experience right on my desk. This was achieved partly through excellently prepared sound and video technology and partly through the truly amazing stories she brought with her. She knows her stuff and has a lot to say about the Wiesn hosts and the background, and she does it all in a charming and entertaining way.
