Munich's beer history in theory and practice!
Duration approx. two hours
Cost: EUR 25 per person including a small beer tasting, pretzel and museum admission
Nowhere is the history of Munich beer presented more charmingly and authentically than in the Munich Beer and Oktoberfest Museum. This museum is located in one of the city's oldest townhouses, and you reach the crooked attic via one of Munich's last remaining staircases. There, I'll gladly tell you how beer was invented, how brewing evolved over the centuries from a female to a male domain, and how... Discover how world-famous brands grew from simple breweries and what exactly defines "Munich beer" today. Join us and experience original artifacts, historical stories, and curious anecdotes about beer, brewers, and beer tent culture.
To deepen our newly acquired knowledge, we'll conclude with a small beer tasting and pretzels in the cozy, historic museum parlor. And anyone who wishes is welcome to enjoy an à la carte dinner at our reserved table.
