Virtual Christmas party

We just learned that the Munich Christmas market has been canceled again. For the second year in a row, our popular pre-Christmas event has been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

I would have loved to take you with me again, to stroll among the stalls like we used to, to let the scent of roasted almonds waft around our noses, to sample creamy delicacies or Christkindl liver cheese, to indulge in honey nougat at the stall. We would have talked about traditional Advent customs, visited churches and angels, or warmed our hands together over a steaming cup of punch or mulled wine.
